I started my private practice over 18 years ago called Prompt & Play. Prompt & Play focused on children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Behavioral needs primarily in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Over the past few years, I found myself more and more interested in the role anxiety plays in a teens life and how it can stop them from completing what some may see as the simplest of tasks. This interest changed the course of work and the practice became known as Socially Well. After all, isn’t that what most children and young adults look for, being social adjusted and mentally well.
Mindset matters! Mental Health is an important part of todays society it is especially important for tweens, teens and young adults.
Teenage years come with many challenges and one challenge is self awareness, it is important to have a healthy mindset and coping skills that are necessary to address the unpredictability of life. Young people today often feel disconnected emotionally, socially, and behaviorally, leading to a decline in their mental health. outside help to address the emotional health is necessary and available. Similar to physical health concerns requiring real answers, Mental and Emotional health is no different. Teens need tools to help them regulate their emotions, develop connections with others, and create a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle.
I take an integrated, solution-focused approach to working with adolescents and young adults who are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, autism, and ADHD. I treat the whole person, not just their symptoms or behaviors, with the goal of giving them the tools they need to manage whatever comes their way – now and for the rest of their lives.
Holding multiple state licenses, I work in-person with local clients in Delaware and Pennsylvania as well as remotely with clients outside of the tristate area and those located in Pennsylvania, Florida, and southern Delaware.
